This painting just traveled more than 800 miles & I’m thrilled to see in installed in this beautiful desert home. My largest painting to date, a 4ft x 5ft canvas. A labor of love… hand-stretched, primed, painted & shipped. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, I feel like the large canvas really allowed me to let loose. I can’t wait to jump on a new canvas now that this has been delivered to my client. I’m dreaming up a collaboration with my kids & husband to create something big.

Loved working on a large watercolor surface with this series. I put down the initial layers on a 30×40 sheet of Fabriano watercolor paper & then tore it into four & added in my hand-drawn details.
There’s something so beautiful about the beach, ocean & colors of California. Love.
